Abstract

A reasonable theoretical elucidation of biogenetic pathways is given for marine terpenoids-halogenated terpenoids, cembranolides and tetracyclic tetraterpenoids in marine organisms according to biogenesis, and the possibility of studying biogenetic pathways by chemical synthesis and molecular probe method is discussed.
