Abstract

Numerous health care professionals have been found guilty of murdering their patients. These perpetrators used various poisons to kill their victims. Even though each of these murderers was unique in how he or she killed, several common characteristics have been noted regarding these cases that should heighten health care workers' and administrators' concern of potential foul play.
