Strength of Recommendation Grade: Not applicable. Purpose/Question: The authors aimed at evaluating the efficacy of multiple topical fluoride (F) varnish applications at preventing WSL formation in adolescents, during treatment with fixed orthodontic appliances. Source of Funding: Government and industry-With grants from the County Council of Vasterbotten (the a should have two dots above it), Sweden and the Swedish Dental Society; and with materials from Ivoclar Vivadent and 3M-Unitek.
