Abstract

Incisionless otoplasty is a valuable tool for the facial cosmetic surgeon. It addresses all parts of the protuberant ear malformation: the antihelical fold, conchal bowl, and lobule problems can be surgically completely remedied. To correct each anatomic area, the current operation is divided into two parts for each area. First, cartilage scoring is performed to weaken the cartilage memory spring. Second, retention sutures are placed to hold the ear in its desired position. The incisionless otoplasty procedure is precise with lasting effects.
