Hepatic focal defects identified with (99m)Tc sulfur colloid imaging procedures are nonspecific. This report describes a case of an ectopic gallbladder localized by cholecystography and 131I rose bengal studies in a patient with cirrhosis and suspected intrahepatic neoplasm.
