Abstract

The complete reflux small bowel examination for the localization of the site of small bowel hemorrhage in 2 cases is described. Emphasis is placed on the use of premedication with diazepam (ValiumR) and glucagon in facilitating the ease of the examination. Most pertinent, however, is that this additional examination may result in the localization of a bleeding point when other methods fail.
