Abstract

The authors examined the relationship between unawareness of illness and eight frontal lobe sub-regions in 15 patients with schizophrenia. Significant inverse correlations were seen between unawareness and bilateral middle frontal gyrus volume and between symptom misattribution and superior frontal gyrus volume.
