Sir Victor Horsley is well recognized as the father of neurological surgery, publishing many articles within this discipline and on other neurologically related topics. Accordingly, we compiled, for the first time, a complete listing of his writings. We briefly describe here some of the characteristics of his bibliography, which is available on the Journal's web site.
